8th Edition of the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon

Standard Chartered Bank is the proud Title Sponsor of the 8th Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon, the largest athletic event held in Kenya since 2003. 
The Nairobi Marathon has become the signature annual sports event that brings together runners and supporters from all over the country as well as foreign participants to Nairobi, the beautiful capital city of Kenya and home of the greatest distance runners in the world..

This year's event still incorporates some changes whose success was evident in the 2009 Marathon which include:

• a new route that passes through the city center
• a onestop registration which makes the process user friendly
• use of latest technology in registration and certificate issuance
